Our abundantly talented writer roster includes Wiseman, Sarah Buxton, Rodney Clawson, Matt Dragstrem, Joey Moi, Chris Tompkins, The Warren Brothers and Cameron Montgomery. Big Loud Shirt’s sister company, Big Loud Mountain’s publishing roster includes Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelly of the duo, Florida Georgia Line, Chris Lane and Morgan Wallen. In 2015 alone, Big Loud Shirt has had six songs top the charts, including “Gonna” (Blake Shelton), “Anything Goes” (Florida Georgia Line), “Sippin’ On Fire” (Florida Georgia Line), “Sun Daze” (Florida Georgia Line), “Til It’s Gone” (Kenny Chesney), and “Wastin’ Gas” by Canadian artist, Dallas Smith. The company has also seen an impressive 73 cuts for the entirety of the year.
Big Loud Shirt has brought home Grammy awards for Country Song of the Year with Tim McGraw’s “Live Like You Were Dying”, Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats” and “Blown Away”, while also garnering three other Grammy nominations including George Strait’s “I Saw God Today”. Of our award-winning songs, “Live Like You Were Dying” attained a solid #1 status for an incredible 7 weeks straight on the US Billboard country music charts. In addition, songs written by Big Loud Shirt writers have won 14 ASCAP performance awards, a BMI performance award, ASCAP Song of the Year awards, People’s Choice Best Country Song, NSAI “Songs I Wish I’d Written” and ACM, CMA and IMBA Song of the Year awards.
Rodney Clawson’s penned, “I Saw God Today” gave George Strait his 56th #1 song. Florida Georgia Line’s debut single “Cruise,” was the fastest rising song for a group or duo since Brooks & Dunn debut and stayed at the #1 position for 20 weeks straight, tying for the record. It currently holds the record for the most downloaded country single with RIAA certification of 9 million downloads. At the 2013 CMA Awards, Florida Georgia Line took home Vocal Duo of the Year and Single of the Year for “Cruise”.
Billboard Magazine recently recognized Big Loud Shirt as one of the nation’s top ten publishing companies based on radio airplay. In the 2014 ‘Year in Music’ issue of Billboard Magazine, Rodney Clawson was named the #1 ‘Hot Country Songwriters’, and Joey Moi was named #1 Hot Country Producer. The fall of 2013 brought top accolades for Big Loud Shirt’s writers. Rodney Clawson was named NSAI & BMI Songwriter of the Year and ASCAP named “Drunk On You” as Song of the Year (written by Clawson and Tompkins). At the 2014 ASCAP Awards, Craig Wiseman was honored with the first ever given Heritage Award for being the most played country songwriter of the century. Several of the Big Loud Shirt companies also landed in the top 20 ‘Hot Country Songs Publishers’ list. 2015 was also an incredible year for the Big Loud writers, with Craig Wiseman’s induction into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, the addition of the Warren Brothers to the company roster, and Rodney Clawson winning BMI Songwriter of the Year, NSAI Songwriter of the Year, and earning a Double CMA Triple Play Award.

Craig Wiseman, the man in the “Big Loud Shirt”, is the owner and president of the company. From Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Wiseman moved to Nashville in 1985 to pursue a songwriting career. He signed his first publishing deal in 1990, and in 2003, he opened Big Loud Shirt. The company has since experienced over thirty-eight #1’s, and Wiseman continues his own songwriting success; in 2015, he was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.
A West Union, IL native, Seth England moved to Nashville after graduating from Greenville College, majoring in music business and marketing. He got involved with Big Loud Shirt and quickly became the company’s creative director. He now serves as the vice president of Big Loud Shirt and is a partner of Big Loud Mountain and Big Loud Records.
Kimberly Gleason, a Minnesota native and University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate, began her music business career at BMI. At the BMI Nashville office, she worked first in the television and film music department before moving into writer/publisher relations. Following her interest in music publishing, she joined Almo Irving Music for eight years until its purchase by Universal Music. In 2003, Kimberly joined Craig Wiseman upon his opening of Big Loud Shirt. As Director of Operations at BLSI, she oversees the song catalog activity, including demo accounting and license approvals.
Matt Turner began his career in music publishing in 2007 when he was hired as Catalog Manager for ole and was eventually promoted to Creative Manager. After his 6+ years at ole, Matt was hired as Creative Director at Big Loud Shirt and now handles the day-to-day writer management and song-plugging responsibilities for Big Loud Shirt’s impressive writer roster and catalog.
A native of Charleston, MO, Hannah Showmaker Wilson moved to Nashville to attend Belmont University where she majored in music business with a minor in public relations. Upon graduation in 2012, she joined Parallel Entertainment working in both management and publishing. Four years later, she joined the Big Loud Shirt team as the Creative Director.
Raised in Charleston, South Carolina, Jordan Kolodka moved to Nashville in 2011 to attend Belmont University. She majored in music business and now serves as the creative coordinator for Big Loud Shirt.
